Five Number bet is considered to be the worst one to make as the probability of winning this bet is 13.16%;the house edge in this case would be 7.89%. So, it is better to use other bets.

There are also some methods for cutting the house edge as roulette rules called "Surrender" and "En Prison".

"Surrender"

This rule is only possible if a player uses outside bets when playing. These are Odd/Even, Black/Red, Dozen, Column, Low/High and a Snake Bet. If the ball lends on "zero" or "double zero" a player loses one-half of the original bet. The house edge in this case falls to 2.63%.

"En Prison"

The dealer offers this option when the ball lends in "zero". As a result a player's even money bets are held to the next spin. With the help of this rule a player cuts down the house edge to 1.35% and increases his winning chances automatically.
